OTN Specialty Services has developed more than 200 protocols on Lynx®, our Clinical Informatics Platform.  The Lynx Platform permits providers working with OTN Specialty Services the ability to consistently apply nationally recognized clinical practice guidelines in the diagnosis, care planning, documentation, patient education, persistency and compliance program and measurement of clinical and financial outcomes. Lynx’s technology enables OTN Specialty Services to extract patient demographic information from physician and plan databases regarding benefits administration, clinical lab and testing results, etc. We provide to physicians, health plans and patients up-to-date information regarding clinical pathways progress of individual patients, patient specific education, persistence and compliance information, cost of care, utilization and outcomes data, either through Lynx access or web portals following HIPAA guidelines. 

We have protocols for oncology, reproductive endocrinology, neurology, rheumatology, infectious disease and other chronic diseases. These protocols provide guidelines around patient diagnosis criteria, efficacy, side effect management, patient disease and drug monographs, therapy selection criteria, care pathways, drug utilization evaluation, drug dosing and care plan information.

This robust Clinical Informatics Program allows for coordination with Plan Clinical Management to eliminate gaps between patient diagnoses to prescription fulfillment. This allows for incorporation of clinical outcomes studies that includes the total continuum of care, which validates the value of specialty pharmacy programs in obtaining successful treatment outcomes and plan and patient savings.
