OTN Specialty Services provides a Medication Adherence Predictor ProgramSM (MAPPSM) to all patients. This drug adherence and persistence program was developed specifically for patients treated with pharmaceuticals for complex health conditions in which drug compliance is a problem.  MAPPSM is a detailed evidenced based drug adherence and persistence program designed to avoid unnecessary drug switching, noncompliance and over-dispensing. This program screens patients for risk of non-adherence and then utilizes multiple proven methods such as health belief model, education and the identification of psychosocial variables to foster drug adherence in the absence of significant drug side effects.
