OTN’s Specialty Pharmacy, Ivpcare, Inc., Awarded Accreditation from the Joint Commission for Pharmacy Services

Ivpcare, Inc. offers pharmacy and clinical services through its chronic and critical care pharmacy division, OTN Specialty Services, and IVPCARE Reproductive Health Services, its pharmacy division focused on the treatment of infertility. The Joint Commission previously awarded accreditation to Ivpcare, Inc. for its infusion services. This new accreditation marks the first time that Ivpcare, Inc. has received accreditation for its pharmacy dispensing services and clinical consultant pharmacist services. Pharmacy dispensing services include the dispensing of medications by a licensed pharmacy and the provision of the professional services of a pharmacist as a component of the dispensing process to ensure appropriate and safe medication use. Clinical consultant pharmacist services include the provision of professional care and services by a qualified pharmacist to optimize outcomes of medication therapy and minimize the adverse effects of medications.
