Blaise A. Aguirre, M.D. - Dr. Aguirre is a board certified Psychiatrist and Clinical Instructor in Psychiatry at Harvard University School of Medicine. Dr. Aguirre completed medical school at the University of the Witwatersrand Medical School in the Republic of South Africa and conducted his residency training in Psychiatry at Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Aguirre served as Assistant Director of Training and Instructor of Psychiatry at the Boston University School of Medicine prior to his current position as a staff psychiatrist at McLean Hospital in Massachusetts. Dr. Aguirre is also a seasoned stock investor and a fully licensed stock broker.

Craig L. Best, MD, MPH - Dr. Best is board certified in the fields of Obstetrics/Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology/Infertility, and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Best completed residency training at the University of California San Francisco, Fresno program where he was awarded Resident of the Year in 1991. He then completed two fellowships at Harvard Medical School in the fields of Reproductive Endocrinology and Reproductive Immunology. He has won Prize Paper Competitions at local (Boston Fertility Society, 1996) and national (American College of OB/GYN, 1992) meetings. Dr. Best is an Assistant Clinical Professor of OB/GYN and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School and has written a number of articles and book chapters published in the OB/GYN literature. Currently, Dr. Best is Chief of Gynecology at Carney Hospital in Boston, MA, where he also serves as chairman of the hospital's Research Committee.

Francis A. Farraye, MD, MSc - Francis A. Farraye, MD, MSc is Associate Professor of Medicine at the Boston University School of Medicine. He serves as the Clinical Director in the Section of Gastroenterology and Co-Director of the Center for Digestive Disorders at Boston Medical Center. After graduating from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, Dr. Farraye earned his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, and his Masters Degree in Epidemiology from the Harvard School of Public Health. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine, as well as a research and clinical fellowship in gastroenterology, at Beth Israel Hospital, Boston.
Dr. Farraye’s clinical interests are in the care of patients with inflammatory bowel disease, irritable bowel syndrome as well as the management of colon polyps and colorectal cancer. He has active research projects in the areas of inflammatory bowel disease and colon cancer. Dr. Farraye is the author of numerous original reports, abstracts, reviews and educationally relevant publications.

Dr. Farraye is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Gastroenterology. He is a member of the Chapter Medical Advisory Committee for the New England Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation and its immediate past chairman. He was named the Humanitarian of the Year in 2003 by the New England CCFA. Nationally, he serves as the Chair of the Patient Care Committee as well as Governor in Massachusetts for the American College of Gastroenterology. He serves as AGA representative on the National Colorectal Cancer Round Table as co-chair of the Standards Committee.

Bill Lundberg, MD - Dr. Lundberg is a Diplomat of the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Lundberg graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology prior to completing medical school at Stanford University. He then completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Harvard Medical School. After his residency, he concluded a Clinical Fellowship in Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Harvard University. Dr. Lundberg then pursued an NIH-funded research fellowship at the Whitehead Institute at MIT. Dr. Lundberg has research expertise in the areas of genetics and oncology and has published important papers on these topics. Dr. Lundberg currently serves as Medical Director at Genzyme Corporation in Cambridge, MA.

Robert C. Lowe, M.D. - Dr. Lowe is a Board Certified Gastroenterologist specializing in the clinical management of Hepatitis C. Dr. Lowe graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Harvard University prior to completing a medical degree and Internal Medicine Residency at Harvard University. Dr. Lowe then completed a clinical fellowship in Gastroenterology at Boston University where he is currently an Assistant Professor of Medicine. Dr. Lowe is active in teaching medical students at Boston University as director of the GI pathophysiology course and Associate Director for Subspecialty Education. Dr. Lowe is a member of the Medical Advisory Board for the Liver Foundation and serves on the Boston University Internal Review Committee. Dr. Lowe has authored a number of book chapters and review articles and lectures extensively on the management of viral hepatitis.
